Langley has cowboys?? Where? I've seen a few stock brokers in bad cowboy boots and hats but that's about it. Here's what I've learned - if the guy in the pointy cowboy boots drives a $80,000 SUV with no mud or bits of hay on the floor mats - he's probably never been near any type of livestock. *lol*

teresaml (22.11.2006) You managed to get your husband to shave his head???? God, it too me three years and a bottle of Jack Daniels to convince mine to lose his 70's porn star moustache *shudder* You're good! I'm impressed. Do you think you could convince mine that rubber boots and plaid flannel only worked for Curt Cobain?I got hubby to shave the tache years ago in a bet that if we moved from Vancouver to Vancouver Island he would have to shave the tache. LOL. I have got him to grow a small goatee ala Magni but it is gray but looks kind of hot. He loves the bald look as his hair has been going gray since he was 25 and hated the though of looking old. He looks younger now than when I met him 15 years ago. LOL. He loves the wallet chaing and beenie too. Never thought I'd get him to wear anything but a ball cap. He was never into Mac jackets or rubber boots. He does want a pair of Dayton's sometime though but have to go to Vancouver to get those. He makes do with black cowboy boots. When I was a young single I remember Dayton's or Leather jackets were not allowed in any of the nightclubs in Vancouver to keep out a certain element now Dayton's are fashionable. LOL. *applause* good job! I've never been a goatee girl but I did like it on Magni. When I first met my husband (and you have to understand he's from the Carribean) he was hanging out on commerical drive with his local musician buddies, had HUGE hair and wore an old military jacket. It took him six month just to convince me he wasn't a drug dealer. I have managed over the years to get him to shave to moustache and get that hair cut down to a reasonable level and to loose the flack jacket. He does have those good Belizian genes though and he's more handsome and looks younger now he did when he was 20. I think there should be some sort of law against that.

| We tried the full goatee after Don Cherry grew one about six years ago but that was a disaster as we couldn't keep it even. This one is like Magni's and much easier to keep trim. It being gray it makes him look like he's in a biker gang somewhat. LOL. We found an awesome Harley Davidson leather wrist band in Chinatown here in Victoria for $6.00 so that just completed the heavy look. He already had a awesome leather watch band that looked liked the wrist Elvis wore with the Black Leather outfit from 68 Comeback Special but had space for a watch. That was first item on the slippery slope making hubby look more hot and not so boring in his clothing. LOL. Kate

teresaml...I wouldn't exactly call INXS a "no-where band". They have been around for 20+ years, toured the world, have had many hits and made millions of dollars. Their popularity had wanned prior to Michael Hutchence death, but they still had a very solid fanbase. After chosing J.D. Fortune, they released "Switch" to moderate success and embarked on a sold-out tour. I saw them in Denver and they were fantastic. Yes, their label dropped them, but I don't base the value of a band on what "corporate" thinks. There are so many amazing artists who never get signed...and many "artists" who do and I sit around scratching my head wondering how it happened. And I'm sure J.D. doesn't regret joining up with that "no-where band"...he's toured the world, made buckets of money, got to do what he loves (sing, perform and make music) and made fans and friends all over the planet. I'd say that beats living in his car with a stalled career.

| Smithers, Sorry, I think I didn't make that clear - I don't think Inxs is a no where band - and I loved JD Fortune - he's a fellow Maritimer for heaven's sake! I do hope that INXS being dropped from their label doesn't mean we're not going to be hearing from him. This is not going to make me popular here but I was actually referring to Supernova as a "no where band" and I do stand by that. I never thought the group they ended up with had much chemistry, despite their various talents, and, even as a Canadian I have to say that Lucas was not the best candidate. I thought the original songs they came up with during the show were a bit dated and definitely not hit material. I do wish them all the best but the revues on their first album seem to back me up and I would guess that the whole thing will dissolve over the next year or so, never to be heard from again. I thought right from the first time I watched the show that Magni was much too talented and had too much range to be happy in that band and, despite it being sad to see him not win it, I think it could have been a career killer for a very promising young musician. Besides, despite his being married with a son - he's so much better looking than the other three, he'd have gotten all the girls and then what would Tommy Lee do for entertainment? *kidding*

| I didn't like the original SuperNova material either, terresaml. That is why it was especially laughable when Tommy criticized Magni's original, "When The Time Comes", saying it was not memorable! I don't remember any of the SN tunes, but I've been humming Magni's song ever since I heard it that first night he performed it. Thanks for the excellent music, Magni!
