Darling Magni! This is not a letter to him, he is just a darling 
But why? I thought about to have this in "Þráður á íslensku" becauce I´m not so good in English, but he is now an international "our boy!"
I could almost be his grandmother (just almost ) and of corce i have always loved rock and roll. But why Magni? I´m not longer going to the contry dans (sveitaball) unless Þjóðháðið í Vestmannaeyjum 
But in the summer I was awake all night once in a week to vote for this boy. And last night I thought I was going crazy - I woke up to go to WC and half asleep I went to my computer for vote for him as the best Emerging band on Myspace and on the way I chose him as the sexiest celebrity  and I am a grandmother!!
Magni has an unbeliveable musical talent and his voice awake me like Elvis Presley did, he can sing everything, rock, country and I´m sure gospel and folk music. Everyone who loves music is hooked.
But he is also a good character and has a good charisma. Many girls like to be his fiancée (but he is after all JUST A MAN so I´m sure Eyrún often like to kick his ***) and he is the best dream for a mother in law  and he remember me of my son (but he is not a singer!)
For me Magni is like a forces of nature. He is shaking the community like a eartquake and most of us talk about, where will he go and what will he do.
I hope that most of the world will hear his voice and enjoy it but before that I hope he will be happy in his life.
This is the reason I´m enchanted of him and his voice.

| How beautiful!!! I too think I am crazy sometimes but ENCHANTED is a great word for it, almost like a beautiful, magical spell he has cast.

| I loved reading your post Ida and I totally agree with you. This just shows how Magni touches everybody, mothers, daughters, grandmothers, even fathers and grandfathers ... No matter what age we are in, anyone can love rock & roll and a great performer ...

For us he is so much more than a amazing voice. The voice only is not enough to be hooked on. The personality has go go along with it

For us he is so much more than a amazing voice. The voice only is not enough to be hooked on. The personality has go go along with it It´s very true. His voice is awesome but he has so much more like you say and that is why we are hooked on him.

| Ida, enchanted is a lovely way of expressing how we feel about Magni. I agree with all everyone has said here. Magni has such a beautiful voice and that is enough to make us all pay attention and purchase cds, but to make us come here wanting to share with other fans, be excited with each new photo and story that comes out, and vote like crazy for him takes something very special. Magni has that "something" in spades, he seems like a truly nice and caring person, he loves his family deeply and is protective and giving to his friends, he's extending that giving nature to his fans and providing songs and photos and updates for us to enjoy. He's the kind of person you would consider to be a wonderful partner, friend, or son. He's so refreshing and has rekindled some of us, I'm completely back into concert going mode, if he ever comes near, I'm there! edit: repair typo
