Just wanted to wish all of you a Merry Christmas, including Magni, too! I can't even remember now which year Magni was on Rockstar. We have been at this site for quite awhile! It is nice to know that I have buddies from all sorts of wonderful places because of this site. I hope that all of you have a joyous holiday!

| Pop, thanks for the info on when Rockstar was on with Magni. Wow! 2006! Time is flying..... Did anyone have to change their holiday plans due to the big snowstorm in the middle of the U.S.? We dodged a bullet in Kansas. Although we received some snow, and the wind was so bad that it snowed sideways for hours, we didn't get nearly as much as they thought we would. We had a White Christmas, which was beautiful. I hope that everyone was able to get to their desired destinations!

Traveling from Colorado Springs to Chicago last week was an "adventure"! Flew out of Denver International Airport (DIA), so the first phase of the journey was driving from Colorado Springs up to Denver last Weds. It was definitely a "white-knuckle" ride! The snow was wet and sloppy...so the wipers were engaged practically the whole way up! I'm grateful I didn't run out of windsheild wiper fluid! It was also very icy. Yuk! Got up there in plenty of time...and, of course, my flight ended up getting delayed...PRIMARILY because of the foul weather in Chicago!!! A big ice storm! I actually had boarded the plane when they delayed it an additional two times....we ended up spending about 90 minutes on the plane waiting to get the go-ahead. I was afraid that they were going to end up cancelling us! But we did take off and did land at O'Hare....I thought we might get diverted to Milwaukee.  It rained in Chicago Weds., all day Christmas Eve and all day Christmas Day. Christmas Day night it turned into snow (finally!) and then totally dumped in the suburbs all day Saturday....12 inches!!! It tapered off on Sunday and I was able to catch my flight back to Denver...no problem-o. It was great to see the family...so the hassle was well worth it!
