So...while we were away, Magni had a big anniversary - ten years with A Moti Sol. A couple of Fridays ago, as part of the commemoration, the band did a blitz of three of the main radio stations in Iceland - I heard two of those - Bylgjan and Ras 2, but it was Ras 2 that actually had them perform. They did four songs - Sé þig seinna, Á þig, Mamma gefðu mér grásleppu, and a cover of Gleðibankinn (is it me or does some of the melody sound like the Stones' Under My Thumb?). I think the whole broadcast is still online but you have to really scroll over and find the exact spot... BUT, I did manage to record these, so you know what that means...the archives are open! 
Also while we were away, AMS posted a few videos from the past. Not quite sure what this first one is about... 
And then a couple clips of performances from when Magni had hair...
Audience scene is reminiscent of where I was in the inner circle at U2 this week...whew! The audience looks like babies there...
And finally, this video appeared on YouTube...I believe this performance is from late spring, the other guy is Magni's former SHAPE bandmate/cousin...
I think we're all caught up now... the new A Moti Sol album will be out in November! Wonder if all the singles from these past two years will be on it or if it will be all completely new songs...hmm...

THANKS! I've been starving for news!! WOO HOO on the new album - Yay!!!
I thought perhaps maybe they were almost done but you know how my Icelandic is well, nonexistent, so it's great to hear confirmation. 
And, great catch on that video!! How did that one get by me? I have to say the search on youtube sucketh now. I swear it skips stuff, so what a great surprise! I love it! I've always thought Magni is a master at harmonies - it's that musicality of his coming out again. It's just so great to see/hear him perform again - reminds me just how good he is! And I love how he collaborates with different musicians. Awesome!
Edit: Pop, what makes you think the album could have all new material?? I just assumed it'd include the singles plus a few we haven't heard yet....
