Finally I pulled my self together for a more proper write up of the Queen Tribute in Fifuni so here goes some random thought on the evening…
Arriving in good time for the show to find the seats. Good ones, second row with excellent view over the stage. Pretty dark picture but maybe you can make out the stage, the steps where the FSU choir was standing, someone tuning a guitar and the big screen in the background (T – 11.46!!)

Guessing there was somewhere between 2000-3000 people at the venue, young, older and in between .
The stage was bigger than last years show and there were big screens behind and on the side of the stage and also on the side walls.
Ingo, who is very popular in Iceland (and cute and funny ) started the show, all alone with his guitar doing a mix of his own and Icelandic camp-fire (type) songs. He also did an unforgettable (and very different version from Magnis) one-man interpretation of Bohemian Rhapsody. He got us all singing and clapping hands. Ingo definitely gets an A+ from me
After a short break the show starts and the band and choir goes on stage, band is playing the powerful Innuendo. And the show is on...
The songs (in no particular order and I’m probably also forgetting some.. ) included:
Save me
Somebody to Love
Tie your Mother Down
One vision
Hammer to fall
Under Pressure
Love of my life
Fat Bottomed Girls
Stone Cold Crazy
Killer Queen
Bicycle race
Crazy little thing
Bohemian
We will rock you
We are the champions
Radio Gaga
(they may also have done Don’t stop me now and I want it all, Another one bites the dust - but not 100% sure need to start taking those memory enhancing pills )
The choir went off stage for a set of the more rockier songs, Erikur did Fat bottomed girls and Stone Cold Crazy, Hera Björk sang alone in Killer queen and Love of my life. We are the champions, We will rock you and Under pressure combination of Hera/Erikur/Magni otherwise I think Magni did the most singing in the show , of course backed up by the skilled musicians in DBS and the fantastic kids is the FSU choir. Standing out for me was Save Me, love that song and love it even more Magni singing it, Bohemian ( Magnis version- Ingo was good but Magni was superb) and Under pressure. Loved the white jacket and the shades , is it the same he wore in RS show??
There was at least 2 guys up front taking pictures at lot of the time and at the end of the show big herds of people where standing upfront at the stage taking pictures and shooting videos, so hopefully something will surface.
Sound was great, missed that fab light show from last years show a bit, but not too much and I had the greatest time ever! Wish you all could have been there....

Pollyanna, what a great writeup!! I just loved reading your impressions of the show and was so glad to hear how much you liked it!
I thought the same thing when I saw the white jacket - must be from the show. He was so cute with the shades, peeping out from under them at Hera.
I just wanted to thank you again for all the wonderful vids, too!!! I've been having so much fun watching them and you did such a wonderful job - I cannot thank you enough!!!! They made my month!!
I loved all the songs, but I think my favs this time were of course, "Save me" (love love love him on that song, too!!) and "Crazy little thing." He's got this fabulous rhythmic sense and I love how that song lets him showcase it!
THANK YOU, P!!!! You are the best.
