Magni has finally surfaced and left us a message on his site. Sounds like he had a great vacation!  Pop- did you feel the vibes that he was in New York?

Yes, I just saw it (I'm a little slow tonight). Yes, I did feel the very strong vibes that he was close but I don't know if that was my Magni-sense or just the fact that I actually did know that he was here last week.

I should have known that you would be in the know about that!

Not to get in to a "battle of the U.S. cities" or anything.     But NYC one of the nicest places out there?  Clearly, Magni has never spent any quality time in Chicago!    No offense, Pop!

Of course I call Colorado Springs my home now...but still got peeps in the Windy City...and it's always my favorite city to visit.  Go Cubbies!

As I recall, when Magni was there it was -10F and his luggage was a solid block of ice, so that may have colored his perception.

My sister lives in the Chicago 'burbs... I like Chicago a lot too, one of the less than a handful of other U.S. cities I could see myself liking to live in. There's just one problem there, however...winter. Also, the last time I was there (two years ago...the very week Magni did the Dolphin's Cry ), it was 105 degrees! NYC is still the tops.

Hey, girl!  What the flip are you doing up so late!  Isn't it like...3 a.m. on your side of the country!  You, night owl, you!

You're right about the subzero temps when Magni was travelling across the US...but WTF...that's what you get when you tour the States in friggin' February!  Even we had a freak cold spell here in Colorado when Magni was up in Loveland (and a snow storm!). But of course, I'll take Magni on Ice rather than no Magni at all!

Best advice is to stay out of the midwest from December - March and June - August.

Colorado...good anytime   (for the most part...February's not a favorite).
