| We still have first night, and this year they actually had two sets of fire works. The "kids" fireworks at 6 PM and then the big show at mid night. Not sure if they do that every year, this is the first time I head of the early show.

Pollyanna- thanks so much for the video! Magni sure looked like he was having a good time. When was that concert? Wow, the outfit that the guy who was introducing the bands was wearing was certainly wild!

Happy New Year, everyone!!! And thank you all for a great 2007 full of Magni songs, concerts, sightings, tv spots, youtube stuff, all that stuff!!!
Speaking of which, Pollyanna, thank you for the Menningarnótt concert mention, and for the all the goodies you keep bringing us! Truthfully, New Year's is not my favorite holiday--too much pressure starting a new year--BUT that concert gave me a lift today, so thank you so much!

A very Happy New Year everyone!! The fireworks yesterday was indeed as intense as ever, despite rain and heavy winds. my ears are still ringing Magni and A Moti Sol from the menningarnott was broad coasted yesterday on Icelandic TV and can still be viewed at Ruv.is ( at ca 2/3 into the web cast) http://dagskra.ruv.is/streaming/sjonvarpid/?file=4394561[/quote]OhOh Oh that was great fun. Remind me not to drink some port before watching Magni sing out such a fun song. What is the name of the second song? It reminds me of Canadian Newfoundland Celtic band Great Big Sea crossed with some British ska. I really got the giggles on that one. I just love that sort of celtic dance music. Now I feel the urge to go to a ceilidh lol. Kate

That was Á Þig, they did it the original way at the show, there's also a slow version that was on AMS's last album.

| Thanks Pop. I relly liked that song. I think I did see a video of Magni and A Moti Sol doing that awhile ago. It reminds me of one of Great Big Sea's most fun songs Mary Mack. As they sing it gets faster and faster and they expect the audience to keep up lol. Kate aka Canadaformagni
