I'm late, again, to comment - I was out of town and just got back - but MAN, was that a great concert!!! And Magni sounded out of this world!!! His set was WAY too short, but I loved every microsecond of it. :w00t: I love the new ending to "If I Promised!" Soooo beautiful. Wished he'd done "Til Þín," too, but I also loved the unknown song at the end, it was so simple and honest.

Read his blog and couldn't stop smiling - I would've given a LOT to have been on that hill at 1 am!! :w00t: I am so happy for him and so proud of him, too!!! What an amazing feat to have pulled this off. :)

Yeah the Myspace notifications have been wacky lately, I didn't get a new blog post notification either, but I saw he was online though so I looked at his Myspace and there was the blog. :) I think I did get notification on my personal Myspace of the Fanspace blog I did the other day but it never showed up on the Friend Updates, and neither has Magni's. The moral is...check anyway. :D

Also, if you click the Borgarfjordur website link and it's in English with no pics, click the Iceland flag on the side there and then Frettir, and then the intended page comes up.

BTW, although you can listen to the streaming still, the "archives" are open with the Magni portion if you want to cut to the chase or for portable listening. ;)

I think Eyvör is really good. She is different and I love the sound of her voice.:)

Have been listening to the radio and even if the 2 girls before (Amy and Dísa) were really good, Magni really got the crowd going.;)

I didn't get the name of that last song but the tune is from Faroe Islands (which he said was appropriate since the next singer Eyvör is from there) and the lyrics are from Borgarfjörður Eystri. His mother asked him to sing this song and you could here it in the background that the locals new the lyrics.

I kind of wished that he sang his new song "Til Þín". :crying: Love that song.

I always love Magni accoustic and thought he was great tonight, even if it was way too short.:w00t:
