I'm listening to 'Til Þín' in the radio right now :D

I have been so busy that I haven't been on the look out for him :w00t:

I'm preparing to paint the apartment and continuing with the kitchen fixing which I started a year ago :hehe:

Also that 'thing' is still boiling in my head:P

In fact - I'm so busy I think going to work is a waist of time :D

Well, it's probably easy to imagine why the U.S. is only #16 in happiness, but that would put us deep into some socio-political/economic analysis. ;) Although, I'm pretty happy personally despite that, yeah, it's basically been going to work, coming home, going to work. :P I usually save going on vacation until the fall and spring, it's cheaper! Have been going to a lot of concerts though, with a bunch more in the next three weeks. Thinking about hitting Shakespeare in Central Park to see Hair (which is not Shakespeare obviously :D ) sometime in the next few weeks too, if I can score a ticket without waiting in line all day. That's about it for me...

Braedslan is on the Ras2 radio schedule for the 26th, so it looks like it will be broadcast...doesn't have that speaker thingy next to it so I'm not 100% if it will be on the web, but I think it will, just that it might not be replayable and that we'll have to catch it live (well I would be hitting the button ;) ). Either that or they haven't gotten around to putting the speaker thingy up yet. I'll try to catch another program without the speaker thingy to verify that's the case, and we'll post another topic with the info.

Especially on TV, makes a good 'on the fly' vid for the single. ;) I think they're kinda off this week and Magni will probably be headed to the old homestead soon, but they do have a gig in Selfoss on Saturday, so maybe the weekend or early next week? :)

I'm writing a regulatory review, and doing spread sheets. Not too creative either. Now, the reglulatory review is for an environmental report, so it is in the theme of BS's first song.

The lyrics are so soulful, poetry really, and fits the melody so beautifully. :w00t: I am loving the new song soooo much--cannot stop listening to it!!!!:P I love how it builds in intensity musically and emotionally, love the vocals (of course :)), how the guitar and strings perfectly underscore the build up. :w00t: I keep thinking that I cannot wait 'til November!!! :D

Well in very short - Heimir is officially the band's best song/lyric writer, he has the most number 1's but Magni is coming in strong with the most no 2's.

The tribal council and immunity thing is some local joke - as a survivor song writer :D:D

When asked what the lyric to 'Til þín' is about, he said he never explained his lyrics, it is in the ear of the listener to find out for him/her self.

He said this upcoming album will be the band's best so far - by far. It'll include ballads, pop and a little rock and he said it'll be the best album released in Iceland in this decade :D:D:P:P

Ohhhh, boy I am behind here. I am just swamped at work and bringing stuff home. Just got here to look for the lyrics in Engish. I listened to the song Gawd knows how many times, and just keep thinking it's so beautiful, I wish I knew what he was saying!

Thank you Pop:) I agree with you on Belief instead of Believe.

I know that wait is better vocabulary wise instead of await, but I thought it was easier to sing along with await, since it's a bit short with wait when singing along. So I was actually trying tomake it longer without changing the meaning.:w00t:

BUT regarding Radiant instead of Redolent, then you have a different meaning than the Icelandic lyrics. The icelandic one is "Ilmandi fegurð" which means "Aromatic beauty". I just thought it would be easier to sing it with "Redolent" instead of "Aromatic". Of course Radient beauty sounds good but that's not part of the Icelandic lyrics;)[/quote]

I suggested radiant because redolent is like an SAT word, and who uses SAT words in a song. :hehe: It still seemed to be in the spirit of what he is getting at - beauty emanating from whoever he's singing about, beauty you can sense without touching or looking. An aroma can radiate from a person, I experience that on the subway all the time. :w00t:
